Privacy Policy

Fylings aggregates and republishes company information from official African company registries and other public sources (for example Nigeria's CAC, Senegal's RCCM, Tanzania's BRELA, the Global LEI Foundation and stock-exchange disclosures). This is public-record data. Every record shows its source and the date it was last verified.

Where a record names an individual (for example a director or proprietor disclosed in a public registry), we process it on the basis of our and the public's legitimate interest in transparent, verifiable company information. If you believe a record is inaccurate or should be removed, see "Corrections and takedowns" below.

• Usage analytics — anonymised/aggregated traffic data via Google Analytics (pages viewed, approximate region, device).
• API accounts — if you request an API key, the email address and organisation name you provide, and request metadata (counts, timestamps) for quota and abuse-prevention.
• Correspondence — anything you send us by email.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not run advertising trackers.

To operate, secure and improve the service; to provide and meter API access; to respond to enquiries and correction requests; and to comply with legal obligations.

We rely on a small number of processors to run Fylings: Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (application hosting) and Google Analytics (usage measurement). They process data only to provide their service to us.

Fylings uses only the cookies required to run the site and measure aggregate usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and you may object to certain processing. Email hello@fylings.com.

If a published company record is inaccurate, out of date, or you believe it should not be shown, email hello@fylings.com with the page URL and the correction requested. We review every request against the source registry. See also our Disclaimer.

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data, and retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Fylings is a business-information service and is not directed at children.
