Terms of Service

Fylings lets you search, verify and monitor companies using data sourced from official African company registries and other public sources, with free public pages and a paid API.

Company information is compiled from third-party registries and public sources and is provided "as is". We show the source and last-verified date for each record but do not guarantee that any record is complete, current or error-free. Fylings is not legal, financial, compliance or credit advice. You are responsible for verifying information against the official source before relying on it. See our Disclaimer.

You agree not to:

• use the data to harass, defame, or unlawfully discriminate against any person or business;
• use the Service for unlawful purposes or in breach of applicable data-protection law;
• scrape, bulk-download, or place automated load on the public site outside the API and its limits;
• misrepresent the data as certified, official, or as a guarantee of any company's status.

API access requires a key and is subject to the plan limits and quotas shown at sign-up. Keys are personal to your organisation and must be kept secret. We may rate-limit, suspend or revoke access for abuse or breach of these terms, and may change endpoints, limits or pricing with reasonable notice.

The underlying company facts are public-record data. The Fylings name, design, software, and the compilation, enrichment and presentation of the data are owned by us. You may link to and reference our pages; you may not copy the Service's design or pass our compiled dataset off as your own.

Data originates from official registries and other third parties. We attribute sources but are not responsible for the accuracy of the underlying source data, and links to official registries are provided for verification.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fylings and Serene Circle LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any decision made in reliance on the data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We may update these terms; continued use after a change means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Questions: hello@fylings.com.
